We will always honor YOU!
In loving memory of our dear friends. We shall never forget you.
Michael O'Brien (July 24, 1954 – October 15, 2018) was an American politician who was a member of Democratic Party in Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 175th legislative district. He was first elected in 2006. Michael H. O’Brien died October 15, 2018 in the Fishtown rowhome where he lived 62 of his 64 years.
Mike suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a chronic facial pain condition.
He was a great advocate and fighter for awareness.
4/17/2016 He (Dr. Peter Jannetta) was one of the greatest neurosurgeons of his time based on the innovative surgical brain procedure he developed to eliminate facial spasms and the facial pain caused by trigeminal neuralgia.
That procedure known as microvascular decompression guided the field of brain neurosurgery for decades with various applications, resulting in major awards for his work.
Rebecca D Thorpe: This Wednesday in memory of Matthew Tabb,
could each member of the Trigeminal Neuralgia community around the world (whether you knew him or not) release one Teal Mylar helium balloon into the sky?
On the balloon write
Trigeminal Neuralgia kills,
In memory of Matthew. (No last name please)
Take a picture of it floating up and send it to me (Rebecca Thorpe) through private message with your location for a, in memory public Trigeminal Neuralgia awareness album.
Let's unite all over the world and send a message that Trigeminal Neuralgia does kill and we won't be silent about it anymore!
